These interactive sessions are designed to help parents get a fuller understanding of social media and how young people use it. They will be equipped to handle potential issues and recognise the benefits.
We’ll show parents the tools they can use to help their child stay safe, as well as helping them make informed choices when it comes to social media.
The session aims to bust some social media myths and challenges parents to think about their own use of social media.
Parents will be encouraged to work hand-in-hand with schools so that social media issues are dealt with quickly and in an appropriate manner.
